Inspired by: Olympia Le-Tan
What do you get when you mix a holiday in Austria, with The Sound of Music, a little bit of Red Riding Hood and lederhosen? You get Olympia Le-Tan's fall-winter 2013 RTW collection. This collection immediately stood out to me, probably because of my tendency to drift towards clothing that could double as a costume. Her collection is even called "Schnitzel with Noodles," how adorable! These looks take me back to when I was lucky enough to be cast as Liesl in our community theater's production of The Sound of Music. While I understand why the fall shows are in the spring, it makes it difficult to get excited about warmer weather when all I can picture is me frolicking around in the chilly mountains of Austria wearing wool capes, knitted sweaters, and cozy knee highs. Also how charming are her books turned into clutches, do I spy a future DIY project, or you can purchase one for a mere $1,200. I hope you enjoy this collection as much as I did and please check out the rest of the collection here!
